This research is motivated by a student who is not skilled in reading intervals and tone while singing the song, the students just sang based scales and do not pay attention to the tone interval is on track. The purpose of this study is to describe the process and outcomes of student learning after learning skills improvement in tone intervals with the approach track padasiswa models of SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Raya. This research is a class act. The Place of the implementation of this action research in SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Raya Kubu Raya. Research subjects are students of class VII C Consist of 36 people, that isi 16 men and 20 women. Stages of the study consisted of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques used are performance skills (practice) with the performance sheet instruments, observation by observation sheet insrtrumen, dn documentation with documentation outcome instruments. The criteria for the success of this PTK is if there is an increase in students\u27 skills in reading distance intervals through the tone of the song when the model is performance skills assessment results is 85% of students achieving grades is ³ 75. The results of research show the implementation of the learning process is carried out according to plan in the first cycle is 100% and in the second cycle is 100%. Completeness student learning outcomes in the first cycle of 58.54% with an average value is 71.19 and the second cycle increased to 87.80% with an average value is 76.52. Thus the use of the song the model can improve the skills of students in tone intervals.
